Advisory Opinion Request AOR-326 The Texas Ethics Commission has been asked to consider whether political contributions may be used to be for travel within the State of Texas for the Governor, the Governor and his immediate family, or the Governor's immediate family. AOR-327 The Texas Ethics Commission has been asked to consider the application of the revolving door provisions in sec.572.054 of the Government Code to a former state Medicaid director. AOR-328 The Texas Ethics Commission has been asked to consider the application of sec.36.10(a)(3) of the Penal Code, which permits certain state officers to accept benefits derived from a function in honor or appreciation of the recipient. AOR-329 The Texas Ethics Commission has been asked to consider the circumstances in which a state officer may accept a fee for teaching. AOR-330 The Texas Ethics Commission has been asked to consider whether an employee of a state agency may use work time to work on a lawsuit the employee has filed against the agency.
