THE GOVERNOR As required by Texas Civil Statutes, Article 6252-13a, sec.6, the Texas Register publishes executive orders issued by the Governor of Texas. Appointments and proclamations are also published. Appointments are published in chronological order. Appointments Made May 11, 1995 To be a member of the Texas Army National Guard and is eligible to succeed himself as a member of the Texas National Guard Armory Board. General Baker is being reappointed and will be serving a term to expire April 30, 2001. To be a member of the Texas Real Estate Commission for a term at the pleasure of the Governor. Mr. Brummett of Austin will be replacing Eden Box of Austin as chairman. Ms. Box will continue to serve on the commission. To be a member of the Board of Pardons and Paroles for a term at the pleasure of the Governor. The effective date is May 5, 1995. Mr. Rodriquez of Brownsville will be replacing Henry Keene of Dallas as chairman. Mr. Keene is no longer serving on the board. To be a member of the State Board of Barber Examiners for a term at the pleasure of the Governor. Mr. Williams of San Antonio will be replacing Helen Spears of Dallas who no longer serves on the board. To be a member of the Texas Board on Aging for a term at the pleasure of the Governor. Ms. Patterson of Dallas will be replacing Dan Roberts of Fort Worth. Mr. Roberts will continue to serve on the board. To be a member of the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy for a term at the pleasure of the Governor. Mr. Maresh of Houston will be replacing Ronnie Rudd as chairman. Mr. Rudd is no longer serving on the board. Appointments Made May 15, 1995 To be a member of the Texas Commission on Jail Standards for a term to expire January 31, 2001: Patrick O. Keel, 3809 Spicewood Springs Road, #210, Austin, Texas 78759. Mr. Keel will be replacing Kenneth W. Anderson, Jr. of Dallas whose term expired. Appointments Made May 17, 1995 To be a member of the Governing Board of the International Trade Commission for a term at the pleasure of the Governor. Mr. Reeves of Center will be replacing J. David Banberger of Blanco County as chair. Mr. Bamberger will continue to serve on the commission. To be a member of the Texas-Mexico Authority Advisory Board for a term at the pleasure of the Governor. Mr. Langdale of Dallas will be replacing J. Jorge Verduzco of Laredo as chair. Mr. Verduzco no longer serves on the board. To be a member of the Texas Commission on Fire Protection for a term at the pleasure of the Governor.
