Appointments and proclamations are also published.

Appointments Made March 29, 1995
      To be a member of the Public Safety Commission for a term to expire 
December 31, 1999: James B. Francis, Jr., 3904 Miramar, Dallas, Texas 75205. Mr. 
Francis will be replacing Albert Alkek of Houston who is deceased.

Appointments Made April 3, 1995
      To be Public Counsel for the Office of Public Insurance Counsel for a term 
to expire February 1, 1997: Roderick (Rod) A. Bordelon, Jr., 704 Crystal 
Mountain Drive, Austin, Texas 78733. Mr. Bordelon will be replacing Mark L. 
Kincaid of Austin whose term expired.
      To be a member of the Texas Transportation Commission for a term to expire 
February 1, 2001: David M. Laney, 4811 Kelsey Road, Dallas, Texas 75229. Mr. 
Laney will be replacing Ruben R. Cardenas of McAllen whose term expired.

      To be a Chief Justice of the Fourteenth Court of Appeals until the next 
General Election and until his successor shall be duly elected and qualified: 
The Honorable Paul C. Murphy, 3239 Las Palmas, Houston, Texas 77027. Justice 
Murphy will be replacing Justice J. Curtiss of Brown who retired.
      To be a member of the Texas Board of Criminal Justice for a term to expire 
February 1, 2001: Allan B. Polunksy, 30 Westelm Circle, San Antonio, Texas 
78230. Mr. Polunsky is being reappointed.
      To be a member of the Texas Board of Criminal Justice for a term to expire 
February 1, 2001: The Honorable John David Franz, Box 5403, Hidalgo, Texas 
78557. Mayor Franz will be replacing Robert B. Wilson of Lubbock whose term 
expired.
      To be a member of the Texas Board of Criminal Justice for a term to expire 
February 1, 2001: Carole S. Young, 4302 Margate Drive, Dallas, Texas 75220. Mrs. 
Young will be replacing Thomas M. Dunning of Dallas whose term expired.
      To be a member of the Texas Board of Human Services for a term to expire 
January 20, 2001: David Herndon, 2903 Tarry Trail, Austin, Texas 78703. Mr. 
Herndon is being reappointed.
      To be a member of the Texas Board of Human Services for a term to expire 
January 20, 2001: Carole A. Woodard, 3019 Avenue R 1/2, Galveston, Texas 77553. 
Mrs. Woodard will be replacing Paula S. Gomez, of Brownsville whose term 
expired.
      To be a member of the Texas Board of Human Services for a term to expire 
January 20, 1999: Anchi H. Ku, 13123 Burninglog Lane, Dallas, Texas 75243. Ms. 
Ku will be filling the unexpired term of Max Sherman of Austin who resigned.
