   As required by Texas Civil Statutes, Article 6252-13a,  sec.6, the Texas 
Register publishes executive orders issued by the Governor of Texas. are 
published in Chronological order. Additional information on documents submitted

Appointments Made May 4, 1993
        To be a member of the Texas Army National Guard as of August 24, 1992, 
Brigadier General (P) William Edgar Murphy. General Murphy will be serving a 
term to expire April 30, 1999, and will be replacing Major General Don O. Daniel 
of Portland, who retired.
        To be a member of the Texas Commission for the Deaf and Hearing Impaired 
for a term to expire January 31, 1999: Larry M. Corrue, 16302 Clouded Crest, San 
Antonio, Texas, 78217. Mr. Corrue will be replacing Delores Erlandson of Big 
Spring, who was reappointed to the commission but to a different position.
        To be a member of the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement Officer 
Standards and Education for a term to expire August 30, 1997: Sheriff Carl R. 
Griffith, Jr., P.O. Box 2950, Beaumont, Texas 77704. Sheriff Griffith will be 
willing the unexpired term of Bill Bailey of Pasadena, who resigned.
        To be a member of the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement Officer 
Standards and Education for a term to expire August 30, 1997: Jamerson J. Berry. 
Jr., 266 Oryan Court, Houston, Texas 77015. Officer Berry will be replacing 
Roger P. Dickey of Abilene, whose term expired.
Appointments Made May 10, 1993
        To be a member of the Stephen F. Austin State University Board of 
Regents for a term to expire January 31, 1999: Ron Adkison, 1501 Highway 43 
East, Henderson, Texas 75652. Mr. Adkison will be replacing Homer Bryce, whose 
term expired.
        To be a member of the Stephen F. Austin State University Board of 
Regents for a term to expire January 31, 1999: Murray Shaw, 5615 Bayton Loop, 
Austin, Texas 78745. Mr. Shaw will be replacing L. Kelly Jones of Arlington, 
whose term expired.
        To be a member of the Stephen F. Austin State University Board of 
Regents for a term to expire January 31, 1999: Simon Lynn Montes, 306 Trailwood 
Circle, Lufkin, Texas 75901. Mr. Montes will be replacing Peggy Wright of 
Nacogdoches, whose term expired.
