Appointments Made March 16, 1993
To be chief Justice of the Court of Appeals, Fifth Supreme Judicial District 
until the next General Election and until his successor shall be duly elected 
and qualified: Charles W. McGarry, 612 Brookhaven Drive, Irving, Texas 75061. 
Mr. McGarry will be replacing the Honorable Craig Enoch, who was elected to the 
Supreme Court of Texas.
To be Judge of the 231st Judicial District, Tarrant County until the next 
General Election and until his successor shall be duly elected and qualified: C. 
R. Catterton, 3705 Clayton Road West, Fort Worth, Texas 76116. Mr. Catterton 
will be replacing the Honorable Maryellen Hicks of Fort Worth, who was elevated 
to the position of Justice of the Second Court of Appeals.
To be a member of the Texas Department of Commerce Policy Board for a term to 
expire February 1, 1999: Vanessa Diane Gilmore, 1211 Post Oak Park, Houston, 
Texas 77027. Ms. Gilmore is being reappointed.
To be a member of the Texas Department of Commerce Policy Board for a term to 
expire February 1, 1995: Kenneth Q. Carlile, 703 Bergstrom, Marshall, Texas 
75670. Mr. Carlile will be filling the unexpired term of Tom C. Frost of San 
Antonio, who resigned.
To be a member of the Veterans Land Board for a term to expire December 29, 
1996: Jesse D. Martin, 3403 92nd Street, Lubbock, Texas 79423. Mr. Martin is 
being reappointed.
To be a member of the Trinity River Authority of Texas Board of Directors for a 
term to expire March 15, 1997: Percy Howard, Jr., 614 Sixth Street, Huntsville, 
Texas 77340. Mr. Howard will be replacing Michael Cummings of Fort Worth, whose 
term expired.
To be a member of the Texas State University System Board of Regents for a term 
to expire February 1, 1999: Elizabeth Topper Nash, 109 East Mimosa Circle, San 
Marcos, Texas 78666. Ms. Nash will be replacing W. C. Perry of Waco, whose term 
expired.
To be a member of the Texas State University System Board of Regents for a term 
to expire February 1, 1999: Craig H. Vittitoe, 2810 Becky Lane, Harlingen, Texas 
78550. Mr. Vittitoe will be replacing Norman D. Elder of Del Rio, whose term 
expired.
To be a member of the Texas State University System Board of Regents for a term 
to expire February 1, 1999: Ray Zapata, P.O. Box 132, Christoval, Texas 76935. 
Mr. Zapata will be replacing Clyde C. Waddell, Jr. of Lubbock, whose term 
expired.
To be a member of the General Services Commission for a term to expire January 
31, 1999: Ofelia De Los Santos, 1111 Susan, Edinburg, Texas 78539. Ms. Santos 
will be replacing Phillip A. Aronoff of Houston, whose term expired.
To be a member of the General Services Commission for a term to expire January 
31, 1999: Ramiro Guzman, 10216 Buckwood Drive, El Paso, Texas 79925. Mr. Guzman 
will be replacing Nora W. Chavez of San Antonio, who resigned.
To be a member of the General Services Commission for a term to expire January 
31, 1997: Parker C. Folse, III, 5317 Cherokee, Houston, Texas 77005. Mr. Folse 
will be filling the unexpired term of Anne Wynne of Austin, who resigned.
