Chapter 35. A GUIDE TO OPERATIONS, PROGRAMS AND SERVICES

The Texas Commission on the Arts adopts the repeal and replacement of §35.1 and §35.2, concerning A Guide to Operations and A Guide to Programs and Services, without changes to the proposed text as published in the January 6, 2006, issue of the Texas Register (31 TexReg 9). The text of the rules will not be republished. Elsewhere in this issue of the Texas Register , the Texas Commission on the Arts contemporaneously withdraws the adopted emergency repeal and replacement of §35.1 and §35.2. The withdrawal will take effect upon the effective date of this adoption.

The purpose of the repeal and replacement is to be consistent with changes to programs and services of the commission as outlined in the Texas Arts Plan as amended December 2005.

No comments were received regarding adoption of the rules.

The repeal is adopted under the Government Code, §444.009, which provides the Texas Commission on the Arts with the authority to make rules and regulations for its government and that of its officers and committees.

This agency hereby certifies that the adoption has been reviewed by legal counsel and found to be a valid exercise of the agency's legal authority.

Chapter 37. APPLICATION FORMS AND INSTRUCTIONS FOR FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE

The Texas Commission on the Arts adopts the repeal and replacement of §37.24, concerning Application Form and Instructions for Texas Touring Arts Program--Company/Artist without changes to the proposed text as published in the January 6, 2006, issue of the Texas Register (31 TexReg 10). The text of the rules will not be republished. Elsewhere in this issue of the Texas Register , the Texas Commission on the Arts contemporaneously withdraws the adopted emergency repeal and replacement of §37.24. The withdrawal will take effect upon the effective date of this adoption.
