Appointed to the Texas Parks and Wildlife Commission for a term to expire February 1, 2011, T. Dan Friedkin of Houston (replacing Mark Watson of San Antonio whose term expired).

Appointed to the Texas Parks and Wildlife Commission for a term to expire February 1, 2011, Peter M. Holt (Mr. Holt is being reappointed).

Designating Ernest C. Garcia of Austin as Presiding Officer of the State Office of Risk Management for a term to expire May 9, 2007. Mr. Garcia is replacing Martha Rider as presiding officer. Ms. Rider continues to serve on the board.

Appointed to the State Committee of Examiners in the Fitting and Dispensing of Hearing Instruments for a term to expire February 1, 2009, Sara Ann Garza of Mission. Ms. Garza will replace Gail Thomason who resigned.

Appointed to the Texas Juvenile Probation Commission for a term to expire February 1, 2011, Jean Boyd of Fort Worth. Judge Boyd is replacing Judge Robert Brotherton who resigned.

Appointed as an Ex-Officio member on the Task Force on Indigent Defense for a term to expire February 1, 2007, The Honorable Sherry Radack of Houston (replacing Ann Crawford whose term on the Judicial Council expired).

Designating Judge Cheryl Lee Shannon of Dallas as Presiding Officer of the Texas Juvenile Probation Commission for a term at the pleasure of the Governor. Judge Shannon is replacing Robert Brotherton as presiding officer. Judge Brotherton no longer serves on the board.

Designating Waymon Ray Hinson of Abilene as Presiding Officer of the Texas State Board of Examiners of Marriage and Family Therapists for a term at the pleasure of the Governor. Mr. Hinson is replacing Marvarene Oliver as presiding officer. Ms. Oliver no longer serves on the board.
