Appointments for May 26, 2003

Appointed to the Texas Historical Records Advisory Board for a term to expire February 1, 2006, Richard L. Hooverson of Belton (Mr. Hooverson is being reappointed).

Designating R. Dyke Rogers of Dalhart as presiding officer of the Texas Racing Commission for a term at the pleasure of the Governor. Mr. Rogers will replace Terri Lacy of Houston as presiding officer.

Appointment for May 29, 2003

Designating Dallas County Commissioner Jimmy L. Jackson as presiding officer of the Texas Commission on Jail Standards for a term at the pleasure of the Governor. Commissioner Jackson will replace Terry Box of McKinney as presiding officer. Mr. Box no longer serves on the board.

Appointments for June 3, 2003

Appointed as Judge of the 116th Judicial District Court for a term until the next General Election and until his successor shall be duly elected and qualified, Robert Henry Frost of Dallas. Mr. Frost is replacing Judge Carlos G. Lopez who resigned.

Appointed as Judge of the 16th Judicial District Court for a term until the next General Election and until her successor shall be duly elected and qualified, Carmen Rivera-Worley of Denton. Ms. Rivera-Worley is replacing Judge John Narsutis who resigned.
