Appointments for April 7, 2003

Appointed as Judge of the 408th Judicial District Court, San Antonio, for a term until the next General Election and until her successor shall be duly elected and qualified, Rebecca Simmons of San Antonio. Ms. Simmons will replace Judge Phylis J. Speedlin who was elevated to Justice of the 4th Court of Appeals.

Appointed to the Executive Office for the Prevention of Developmental Disabilities for a term to expire February 1, 2009, J.C. Montgomery, Jr. of Dallas (Mr. Montgomery is being reappointed).

Appointed to the Nortex Regional Review Committee for a term to expire January 1, 2005, Paul S. Gibbs, Mayor, of Nocona (replacing Mathew C. Winters who no longer qualifies).

Appointed to the Nortex Regional Review Committee for a term to expire January 1, 2005, David L. Yoder, Commissioner, of Graham (replacing Grady Schenk, Sr. who no longer qualifies).

Appointed to the Governor's Committee on People with Disabilities for a term to expire February 1, 2004, Douglas F. Grady, Jr. of Fort Worth (Mr. Grady is being reappointed).

Appointed to the Governor's Committee on People with Disabilities for a term to expire February 1, 2005, Brian D. Shannon of Lubbock (replacing James Olson of Houston whose term expired).

Appointed to the Governor's Committee on People with Disabilities for a term to expire February 1, 2004, Nancy Kay Shugart of Austin (Ms. Shugart is being reappointed).

Appointed to the Texas Board on Aging for a term to expire February 1, 2007, Mi Yun "Maryann" Choi, M.D. of Georgetown (replacing Dr. Nelda Wray of Houston who resigned).

Appointed to the Texas Board on Chiropractic Examiners for a term to expire February 1, 2009, Scott Edward Isdale, D.C. of Killeen. Dr. Isdale will replace Dr. Richard Gillespie of San Marcos whose term expired.
