Appointments

Appointments for May 30, 2002.

Appointed to the Texas Animal Health Commission for a term to expire on September 6, 2007, Charles E. Real of Marion (replacing Donald Berend of Windthorst whose term expired).

Appointed as the Director of the Office of State-Federal Relations for a term at the pleasure of the Governor, Antonio Edwardo Perez of Washington, DC.

Appointed to the Lease Board for the Texas Parks and Wildlife for a term to expire on September 1, 2003, Bradford D. McJunkin of Plano (replacing William Gammon of Austin whose term expired).

Appointed to the Texas Lottery Commission for a term to expire on February 1, 2003, James A. Cox, Jr. of Austin (replacing Walter H. Criner of Houston who resigned).

Appointed as Judge of the 44th Judicial District Court, effective June 1, 2002, for a term until the next General Election and until his successor shall be duly elected and qualified, David Kelton of Dallas. Judge Kelton is replacing Judge Margaret Keliher of Dallas who resigned, effective May 31, 2002.

Appointed as Judge of the 254th Judicial District Court, effective June 1, 2002, for a term until the next General Electionand until his successor shall be duly elected and qualified, Jeffrey Vincent Coen of Dallas. Judge Coen is replacing Judge Dee Miller of Dallas who resigned, effective May 31, 2002.

Appointed as the Presiding Judge of the Fifth Administrative Judicial Region for a term to expire four (4) years from the date of qualification, Darrell Hester of Brownsville. Judge Hester is being reappointed.
