The Texas Department of Health (department) will review and consider for
readoption, revision or repeal Title 25, Texas Administrative Code, Part 1,
Chapter 127. Registry for Providers of Health-Related Services, §§127.1
- 127.4.
This review is in accordance with the requirements of the Texas Government
Code, §2001.039, the General Appropriations Act, Article IX, §9-10.13,
76th Legislature, 1999.
An assessment will be made by the department as to whether the reasons
for adopting or readopting these rules continue to exist. This assessment
will be continued during the rule review process. Each rule will be reviewed
to determine whether it is obsolete, whether the rule reflects current legal
and policy considerations, and whether the rule reflects current procedures
of the department. The review of all rules must be completed by August 31,
2003.
Comments on the review may be submitted in writing within 30 days following
the publication of this notice in the
Texas Register
to Linda Wiegman, Office of General Counsel, Texas Department of Health,
1100 West 49th Street, Austin, Texas 78756. Any proposed changes to these
rules as a result of the review will be published in the Proposed Rule Section
of the
Texas Register
and will be open for
an additional 30 day public comment period prior to final adoption or repeal
by the department.

Title 22, Part 18
The Texas State Board of Podiatric Medical Examiners will review and consider
for readoption, revision or repeal Title 22, Texas Administrative Code, Part
18, Chapters 378 Continuing Education, 379 Fees and License Renewal, 380 Hyperbaric
Oxygen Guidelines, 381 Relative Anesthesia and 382 Podiatric Medical Technicians.

The Railroad Commission of Texas (Commission) files this notice of intention
to review 16 TAC §3.94, relating to Disposal of Oil and Gas NORM Waste.
This review is being conducted in accordance with Texas Government Code §2001.039

as added by Acts 1999, 76th Leg., ch. 1499, §1.11(a)
).
The Commission is concurrently proposing amendments to §3.94. As required
by Texas Government Code §2001.039 (

), the Commission will
accept comments regarding whether the reasons for readopting §3.94 with
the proposed amendments continue to exist.

The Texas Department of Health (department) has completed and adopts the
rules review of Title 25. Health Services, Part 1. Texas Department of Health,
Chapter 103 Injury Prevention and Control.
The notice of intent to review for §§103.1 - 103.9 was published
in the December 17, 1999, issue of the
Texas Register
(24 TexReg 11541). No comments were received in regards to the publication
of the notice.
This review is in accordance with the requirements of the Texas Government
Code, §2001.039, the General Appropriations Act, Article IX, §9-10.13,
76th Legislature, 1999. The department has determined that reasons for readopting
the sections continue to exist. The rules reviewed were determined by the
board to continue to be needed, reflective of current legal and policy considerations,
and reflective of current procedures of the board.
As a result of the rules review, the department adopted an amendment to §103.1,
adopted §§103.2 - 103.9 without changes because no needed revisions
were identified, and added new §§103.10 - 103.24. The proposed preamble
was published in the September 22, 2000, issue of the
Texas Register
(25 TexReg 9361). The adopted rules were published in
the March 16, 2001, issue of the
Texas Register
(26 TexReg 2170), and the rules became effective March 19, 2001. The rules
review completion date for Chapter 103 is March 19, 2001.
