16 TAC §§65.1, 65.80, 65.90, 65.100
The Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation adopts amendments
to §§65.1, 65.80, 65.90, and 65.100 concerning the Boiler Division
Administrative rules. These sections are adopted without changes to the proposed
text as published in the October 29, 1999, issue of the
Texas Register
(24 TexReg 9449) and will not be republished.
The 76th Legislature enacted House Bill 3155 (HB), which made non-substantive
changes to Texas Revised Civil Statutes Annotated, Article 9100 and codified
the article into the Occupations Code, Chapter 51. Other amendments change
fees, correct references and clarify sections.
No comments were received regarding adoption of these amendments.
The amendments are adopted under Texas Health and Safety Code
Annotated, Chapter 755 (Vernon 1999) which gives the Department the authority
to promulgate and enforce a code of rules and take all action necessary to
assure compliance with the intent and purpose of the Code.
The amendments affect Texas Health and Safety Code Annotated, Chapter 755
(Vernon 1999) and the Texas Occupations Code, Chapter 51 (Vernon 1999).
This agency hereby certifies that the adoption has been reviewed
by legal counsel and found to be a valid exercise of the agency's legal authority.
