The new rule is being adopted pursuant to a mandate set forth in Texas
Government Code, §2155.076 that each state agency develop and adopt protest
procedures for resolving vendor protest relating to purchasing issues.
No comments were received regarding adoption of this new rule.
The new section adopted under Texas Government Code, §2155.076,
which requires each state agency to develop and adopt protest procedures for
resolving vendor protests relating to purchasing issues.
This agency hereby certifies that the adoption has been reviewed
by legal counsel and found to be a valid exercise of the agency's legal authority.
