The Texas State Soil and Water Conservation Board adopts
new §§525.1-525. 8 without changes to the proposed text as published
in the April 9, 1999, issue of the
Texas Register
(24 TexReg 2865). The text of the rules will not be republished.
These sections establish audit requirements for soil and water conservation
districts.
No comments were received regarding adoption of this section.
The new sections are adopted under Chapter 2001.020 Agriculture
Code, which provides the Texas State Soil and Water Conservation Board with
the authority to adopt rules as necessary for the performance of its functions
under the Agriculture Code
This agency hereby certifies that the adoption has been reviewed
by legal counsel and found to be a valid exercise of the agency's legal authority.
