31 TAC §53.70
The Texas Parks and Wildlife Department in a regularly scheduled
public hearing held November 5, 1998 adopted new §53.70 concerning protest
procedures for vendors without changes to the proposed text as published in
the October 2, 1998 issue of the
Texas Register
(23 TexReg 9946).
The adopted new section provides an opportunity for vendors to administratively
process protests of department procedures relating to purchasing issues.
The new section was required as a result of changes to Government Code
§2155.076 which requires the department as a state agency to adopt rules
for resolving vendor protests relating to purchasing issues
The department received no public comments concerning the proposed new
rules.
The new section is adopted under Government Code §2155.076.
This agency hereby certifies that the adoption has been reviewed
by legal counsel and found to be a valid exercise of the agency's legal authority.
