Appointments made April 28, 1998
To be appointed to the RED RIVER BOUNDARY COMMISSION for a term to expire June 
30, 1998: Clyde M. Siebman, P.O. box 1156, Pottsboro, Texas 75076. Mr. Siebman 
will be filling the unexpired term of Christine Smart of Denison who resigned. 
To be appointed to the INTERGOVERNMENTAL TASK FORCE ON HOUSING INVESTMENT for 
terms at the pleasure of the Governor, pursuant to House Bill 1, 75th 
Legislature, Regular Session: Barry R. Knight, 3521 Rankin, Dallas, Texas 75205, 
and Paul D. Turney, 212 Rustic Oaks Drive, Bryan, Texas 77808.
To be appointed to the office of JUDGE OF THE 255TH JUDICIAL DISTRICT COURT, 
DALLAS COUNTY, until the next General Election and until his successor shall be 
duly elected and qualified: Craig M. Fowler, 7140 Brookshire Drive, Dallas, 
Texas 75230. Mr. Fowler will be replacing Judge Donald D. Koons of Dallas who 
resigned.

To be appointed to the office of JUDGE OF THE 212TH JUDICIAL DISTRICT COURT, 
GALVESTON COUNTY, until the next General Election and until his successor shall 
be duly elected and qualified: Miles M. Whittington, Sr., 2021 Pebble Beach 
Drive, League City, Texas 77555573. Mr. Whittington will be replacing Judge Roy 
Charles Engelke of Galveston who retired.
To be appointed as COMMISSIONER OF HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES for a term to 
expire February 1, 1999: Don Allen Gilbert, 3215 Exposition, Austin, Texas 
78703. Mr. Gilbert will be filling the unexpired term of Dr. Michael D. McKinney 
of Houston who retired.
To be appointed to the NORTH TEXAS TOLLWAY AUTHORITY BOARD OF DIRECTORS for a
