 As required by Texas Civil Statutes, Article 6252-13a, sec.6, the Texas 
Register publishes executive orders issued by the Governor of Texas. 
Appointments and proclamations are also published. Appointments are published in 
chronological order. Additional information on documents submitted for

Appointments Made March 21, 1995
      To be Judge of the 28th Judicial District Court, Nueces County until the 
next General Election and until his successor shall be duly elected and 
qualified: Robert C. Pate, 241 Bayside, Corpus Christi, Texas 78411. Mr. Pate 
will be replacing Judge Eric Brown of Nueces County who resigned.
      To be a member of the Texas Commission on Alcohol and Drug Abuse for a 
term to expire June 8, 1997: Dorothy L. Grasty, 4614 Willow Bend, Arlington, 
Texas 76017. Mrs. Grasty will be filling the unexpired term of Lynn Lipshy of 
Dallas who resigned.
      To be a member of the General Services Commission for a term to expire 
January 31, 2001: Raul Romero, 9400 Doliver #8, Houston, Texas 77063. Mr. Romero 
will be replacing Henry H. Gilmore of Austin whose term expired.
      To be a member of the General Services Commission for a term to expire 
January 31, 2001: Alphonso Jackson, 6815 Lakehurst, Dallas, Texas 75230. Mr. 
Jackson will be replacing Robert E. Davis of Irving whose term expired.
      To be a member of the Board of Regents of Texas Tech University for a term 
to expire January 31, 2001: Alan B. White, 4613 Ninth Street, Lubbock, Texas 
79416. Mr. White is being reappointed.
      To be a member of the Board of Regents of Texas Tech University for a term 
to expire January 31, 2001: J. Robert Brown, 837 Via De La Paz, El Paso, Texas 
79912. Mr. Brown will be replacing Richard E. Cavazos of Leander whose term 
expired.
      To be a member of the Board of Regents of Texas Tech University for a term 
to expire January 31, 2001: James E. Sowell, 7000 Vassar Drive, Dallas, Texas 
75205. Mr. Sowell will be replacing James L. Johnson of Irving whose term 
expired.
      To be a member of the Board of Regents of the Texas A&M University System 
for a term to expire February 1, 2001: Robert H. Allen, 3664 Willowick, Houston, 
Texas 77019-1114. Mr. Allen will be replacing Raul B. Fernandez of San Antonio 
whose term expired.
      To be a member of the Board of Regents of the Texas A&M University System 
for a term to expire February 1, 2001: Frederick Donald McClure, 6722 Lakehurst 
Avenue, Dallas, Texas 75230. Mr. McClure will be replacing Gerald J. Ford of 
Dallas who term expired.
      To be a member of the Board of Regents of the Texas A&M University System 
for a term to expire February 1, 2001: Donald E. Powell, 7711 Bent Tree, 
Amarillo, Texas 79121. Mr. Powell will be replacing Billy H. Clayton of 
Springlake whose term expired.
