THE GOVERNOR
     As required by Texas Civil Statutes, Article 6252-13a, sec.6, the Texas 
Register publishes executive orders issued by the Governor of Texas. 
Appointments and proclamations are also published. Appointments are published in 
chronological order. Additional information on documents submitted for 
publication by the Governor's Office can be obtained by calling (512) 463-1828.

Appointments Made September 7, 1994
      To be a member of the Petroleum Storage Tank Advisory Committee for a term 
to expire February 1, 1997: Suzanne Hill, 2108 Winter Sunday Way, Arlington, 
Texas 76012. Ms. Hill will be replacing Rafael Ortega from Houston, whose term 
expired.
       To be a member of the Egg Marketing Advisory Board for a term to expire 
September 27, 1999: Vincent J. Reina, 314 Bryan Street, Boling, Texas 77420. Mr. 
Reina will be replacing Jack Evans, Jr. of Dallas, whose term expired.
       To be a member of the Gulf Coast Waste Disposal Authority Board of 
Directors for a term to expire August 31, 1996: Rita E. Standridge, 13355 Bay 
Place, Baytown, Texas 77520. Ms. Standridge will be replacing Oscar G. Weir of 
Baytown, whose term expired.
       To be a member of the Radiation Advisory Board for a term to expire April 
16, 1999: David N. Henkes, M.D., 319 Tophill, San Antonio, Texas 78209. Dr. 
Henkes will be replacing Dr. Vernie A. Stembridge of Dallas, whose term expired.

Appointments Made September 9, 1994
      To be chair of the Texas Board of Private Investigators and Private 
Security Agencies for a term at the pleasure of the Governor: Melissa Hirsch of 
Odessa. Ms. Hirsch will be replacing Brenda Collier of Dallas as chair. Ms. 
Collier is no longer a member of the board.
       To be a member of the Texas Water Development Board for a term to expire 
December 31, 1997: Lynwood Sanders, 2206 Sunset Drive, Orange, Texas 77630. Mr. 
Sanders will be filling the unexpired term of Diane Umstead of Houston, who 
resigned.
       To be a member of the Texas Turnpike Authority Board of Directors for a 
term to expire February 15, 1995: Stephen Lloyd Van, 3432 Potomac, Dallas, Texas 
75205. Mr. Van will be filling the unexpired term of William P. Mahomes of 
Dallas, who resigned.
       To be a member of the Texas State Board of Examiners of Perfusionists for 
a term to expire February 1, 1997: Trudi B. Stafford, 3603 Cypresswood Drive, 
Spring, Texas 77388. Ms. Stafford is being appointed to a new position pursuant 
to House Bill 1835, sec.4, 73rd Legislature.

Appointments Made September 12, 1994
      To be a member of the Nueces River Authority Board of Directors for a term 
to expire February 1, 1997: Thomas R. Faulkenberry, P.O. Box 889, Brackettville, 
Texas 78832. Mr. Faulkenberry will be replacing Madge Belcher of Brackettville, 
who is deceased.
       To be a member of the Nueces River Authority Board of Directors for a 
term to expire February 1, 1999: Susan Allen Lynch, Coldsprings Lane Box 1, Rio 
Frio, Texas 78879. Ms. Lynch will be replacing Susan C. Griffith of Uvalde, who 
resigned.
       To be a member of the Interstate Oil and Gas Compact Commission for a 
term at the pleasure of the Governor: Howard Earl Bell, Entex, P.O. Box 2628, 
Houston, Texas 77252-2628. Mr. Bell will be serving on the Energy Resources 
Committee.
       To be a member of the Interstate Oil and Gas Compact Commission for a 
term at the pleasure of the Governor: John E. Bennett, Bennett Production 
Corporation, P.O. Box 391, Bowie, Texas 76230. Mr. Bennett will be serving on 
the Energy Resources Committee.
       To be a member of the Interstate Oil and Gas Compact Commission for a

Environmental Affairs Committee.

1419 Centeno Lane, Rio Bravo, Texas 78043. Mayor Aguero will be replacing Jose 
Luis Guevera of Zapata, who is no longer eligible.
