     As required by Texas Civil Statutes, Article 6252-13a,  sec.6, the  Texas 
Register publishes executive orders issued by the Governor of Texas. 
Appointments and proclamations are also published.

Appointments Made January 26, 1994
      To be a Executive Director of the Texas Department of Commerce for a term 
to expire February 1, 1995: Deborah C. Kastrin, P.O. Box 12728, Austin, Texas 
78711-2728. Ms. Kastrin will be filling the unexpired term of Cathy Bonner of 
Austin who resigned.          
Appointments Made February 3, 1994
      To be a member of the Texas Agricultural Finance Authority Board of 
Directors for a term to expire January 1, 1995: The Honorable Brad Rowland, 
Jones County Judge, P.O. Box 764, Anson, Texas 79501. Judge Rowland is being 
appointed pursuant to House Bill 1309, 73rd Legislature.
      To be a member of the Texas Agricultural Finance Authority Board of 
Directors for a term to expire January 1, 1995: George A. Mullino, Sr., P. O. 
Box 215, Rochester, Texas 79544. Mr. Mullino is being appointed to a new 
position pursuant to House Bill 1309, 73rd Legislature.
      To be a member of the Brazos River Authority Board of Directors for a term 
to expire February 1, 1999: Karen C. Matkin, 2824 Rico, Waco, Texas 76710. Ms. 
Matkin will be replacing James F. Wood of Woodway, whose term expired.
      To be a member of the Lower Colorado River Authority Board of Directors 
for a term to expire February 1, 1997: Tommy Z. Le Tulle, 2116 Matthews Street, 
Bay City, Texas 77414. Mrs. Le Tulle will be filling the unexpired term of her 
late husband, Burton B. Le Tulle.
      To be a member of the Lower Colorado River Authority Board of Directors 
for a term to expire February 1, 1997: Clinton Marie Deary Wright, 201 Prima 
Street, Smithville, Texas 78957. Ms. Wright will be filling the unexpired term 
of Cecil Long of Bastrop, who is deceased.
      To be a member of the Texas Incentive and Productivity Commission for a 
term to expire February 1, 1995: Hattie Hill-Storks, 2107 Clearwater Trail, 
Carrollton, Texas 75010. Ms. Hill-Storks will be replacing Beryl Crowley of 
Austin, whose term expired.
      To be a member of the Texas Commission on the Arts for a term to expire 
August 31, 1999: Joan McGuire Mellard, 2611 Eisenhauer Road, #706, San Antonio, 
Texas 78209. Ms. Mellard will be replacing Robert L. Gerry of Houston, whose 
term expired.
      To be a member of the Texas Incentive and Productivity Commission for a 
term to expire February 1, 1995: Jacob (Jake) N. Samuel, 201 Barracuda Avenue, 
Galveston, Texas 77550. Mr. Samuel will be replacing Ralph Cowen of Brownsville, 
whose term expired.
      To be a member of the Egg Marketing Advisory Board for a term to expired 
September 27, 1997: Gilbert A. Burton, Route 2, Box 2758, Lufkin, Texas 75901. 
Mr. Burton will be replacing Emil Plasek of West, whose term expired.
      To be a member of the State Seed and Plant Board for a term to expire 
October 6, 1995: Aubrey James Allison, Ph.D., 52 Fannin Drive, Tulia, Texas 
79088. Dr. Allison is being reappointed.
      To be a member of the State Seed and Plant Board for a term to expire 
October 6, 1995: Edward C. A. Runge, Ph.D., 1104 Deacon Drive, College Station, 
Texas 77845. Dr. Runge is being reappointed.
      To be a member of the State Board of Registration for Professional 
Engineers for a term to expire September 26, 1999: Hubert Oxford, III, 8155 
Evangeline, Beaumont, Texas 77706. Mr. Oxford will be replacing Carl Hubert of 
Houston, whose term expired.
      To be a member of the State Board of Registration for Professional 
Engineers for a term to expire September 26, 1999: C. H. (Herb) Treat, Ph. D., 
6310 Mahabo Drive, San Antonio, Texas 78218-4318. Dr. Treat will be replacing 
James Chien-I Chang of Houston, whose term expired.          

Appointments Made February 4, 1994
      To be a member of the Texas National Guard Armory Board for a term to 
expire April 30, 1995: Simon Tamez, 607 North Louisiana, Weslaco, Texas 78596. 
Mr. Tamez will be filling the unexpired term of V. C. Eissler of Fredericksburg, 
who is deceased.

Texas 76825-6201. Dr. Winters will be replacing Gayle Seawright of DeSoto, whose 
term expired.
      To be a member of the Texas Animal Health Commission for a term to expire 
September 6, 1999: Ernesto A. Morales, P.O. Box 475, Devine, Texas 78016. Mr. 
Morales will be replacing Joe B. Hathoot of Canadian, whose term expired.
      To be a member of the Texas Animal Health Commission for a term to expire 
September 6, 1995: Mike Levi, Paleface Ranch, Route 2, Box 19, Spicewood, Texas 
78669. Mr. Levi will be filling the unexpired term of Sparks Rust, Jr. of Del 
Rio, who resigned.

Bouma will be replacing Bruce Rigler of Plainview, whose term expired.
      To be chair of the Battleship Texas Advisory Board for a term at the 
pleasure of the Governor: General Hugh W. Hardy of Houston. He will be replacing 
Robert D. Miller as chair. Mr. Miller is no longer a member of the board.
      To be a member of the Battleship Texas Advisory Board for a term to expire 
February 1, 1999: MGen. Hugh W. Hurdy, USMC(Ret.), 5626 Rutherglenn Drive, 
Houston, Texas 77096-3924. General Hardy will be replacing Robert D. Miller of 
Houston, whose term expired.
      To be Vice-Chair of the Battleship Texas Advisory Board for a term at the 
pleasure of the Governor: Joshua Hill, Sr. of Houston. Dr. Hill will be 
replacing Aileen Rains of Houston as Vice-Chair. Ms. Rains is no longer a member 
of the board.
      To be a member of the Battleship Texas Advisory Board for a term to expire 
February 1, 1999: Jerry D. Neel, 15423 Wandering Trail, Friendswood, Texas 
77546. Mr. Neel will be replacing Robert Leonard Waldrop of Houston, whose term 
expired.
      To be a member of the Battleship Texas Advisory Board for a term to expire

77025. Dr. Hill will be replacing Aileen Rains of Houston, whose term expired.
