publishes executive orders issued by the Governor of Texas. 
Appointments and proclamations are also published.

Appointments Made December 13, 1993
      To be a member of the Governor's Drug Policy Advisory Board for a term at 
the pleasure of the Governor: Mike Scott, Assistant Chief of Criminal Law 
Enforcement, Texas Department of Public Safety, 5805 North Lamar Boulevard, 
Austin, Texas 78752. Chief Scott will be replacing Ricky Fox of Cleveland, whose 
term expired.

Appointments Made December 15, 1993
      To be Chief Justice of the Court of Appeals, Eighth Court of Appeals 
District until the next General Election and until his successor shall be duly 
elected and qualified, effective January 1, 1994: Justice Richard Barajas, 7140 
Majorca, El Paso, Texas 79912. Justice Barajas will be replacing Chief Justice 
Max N. Osborn of El Paso, who resigned.
      To be Chief Justice of the Court of Appeals, Eighth Court of Appeals 
District until the next General Election and until his successor shall be duly 
elected and qualified, effective January 1, 1994: Paul McCollum, 40 Via Playa, 
Odessa, Texas 79762. Mr. McCollum will be replacing Justice Richard Barajas of 
El Paso, who was elevated to the position of Chief Justice.

Appointments Made December 16, 1993
      To be vice chairman of the Texas Commission on Children and Youth: 
Representative Allen Hightower of Huntsville, for a term at the pleasure of the 
Governor. This appointment is being made pursuant to Senate Bill Number 155, 
73rd Legislature.
      To be chairman of the Texas Commission on Children and Youth: Senator Jim 
Turner of Crockett for a term at the pleasure of the Governor. This appointment 
is being made pursuant to Senate Bill Number 155, 73rd Legislature.

Appointments Made December 17, 1993
      To be a member of the Executive Committee of the Center for Rural Health 
Initiatives for a term to expire August 31, 1995: A. Earl Mgebroff, M.D., 711 
Coke Street, Yoakum, Texas 77995. Dr. Mgebroff will be filling the unexpired 
term of Dr. Jim Bob Brame of Eldorado, who resigned.

Appointments Made December 21, 1993
      To be a member of the Texas State Board of Physical Therapy Examiners for 
a term to expire January 31, 1999: Martin Infante, 1609 Wildrose Circle, Laredo, 
Texas 78041. Mr. Infante will be replacing Travis Cox of San Antonio, whose term 
expired.
      To be a member of the Texas State Board of Physical Therapy Examiners for 
a term to expire January 31, 1999: Theodis Ware, 7708 Marlborough Drive West, 
Fort Worth, Texas 76134-4308. Mr. Ware will be replacing Russell J. Baird of 
Wharton, whose term expired.
      To be a member of the Texas State Board of Physical Therapy Examiners for 
a term to expire January 31, 1999: Penny Butler Patterson, 1225 Hampton Lane, 
Tyler, Texas 75501. Ms. Patterson will be replacing Henry Laird of Amarillo, 
whose term expired.

Appointments Made December 22, 1993
      To serve as Judge of the 303rd Judicial District Court in Dallas until the 
next General Election and until her successor shall be duly elected and 
qualified, effective January 9, 1994: Paula Larsen, 732 Kessler Lake Drive, 
Dallas, Texas 75208. Judge Larsen will be replacing Judge Sue Lykes of Dallas, 
who resigned.
      To be a members of the Selected Committee of Rate and Policy Form 
Regulation for terms to expire December 31, 1994: Debbie D. Branson, 6920 Turtle 
Creek Boulevard, Dallas, Texas 75205; Jesse D. Oliver, 2227 Millermore, Dallas, 
Texas 75216; and Alice H. Gannon, 6423 Longhouse Court, San Antonio, Texas 
78238-1525. These appointments are being made to new positions pursuant to House 
Bill 1461, 73rd Legislature.
      To be Presiding Officer of the Selected Committee on Rate and Policy Form 
Regulation for a term at the pleasure of the Governor: This appointment is being 
made pursuant to House Bill 1461, 73rd Legislature.
