Appointments Made September 20, 1993
      To be a member of the State Securities Board for a term to expire January 
20, 1999: Dan R. Waller, 11325 Chicot, Dallas, Texas 75230. Mr. Waller is 
replacing Thomas B. McDade of Houston, whose term expired.
      To be a member of the Texas Optometry Board for a term to expire January 
31, 1997: Wesley Edward Pittman, O.D., 714 North Kaufman, Mexia, Texas 76667. 
Dr. Pittman will be filling the unexpired term of Dr. Bill Pittman of Mexia, who 
is deceased.
      To be a member of the Governor's Committee on People With Disabilities for 
a term to expire February 1, 1995: Lena DeLoyce Coleman, P.O. Box 5907, Corpus 
Christi, Texas 78465. Ms. Coleman will be replacing Jerry D. Cooper of Dallas, 
whose term expired.
      To be a member of the Governor's Committee on People With Disabilities for 
a term to expire February 1, 1995: Rose Aird Minette, 5605 Manor Road, Austin, 
Texas. Ms. Minette is being reappointed.
      To be a member of the Governor's Committee on People With Disabilities for 
a term to expire February 1, 1994: Shirley Ann Smith Pacetti, 2601 Bellefontaine 
A-301, Houston, Texas 77025. Ms. Pacetti will be filling the unexpired term of 
Dominga Vela of Edinburg, who resigned.
      To be a member of the Texas Youth Commission for a term to expire August 
31, 1999: John W. Odam, Jr., 10809 Roaring Brook, Houston, Texas 77024. Mr. Odam 
will be replacing Comer Cottrell of Dallas, whose term expired.
      To be a member of the Teacher Retirement System of Texas Board of Trustees 
for a term to expire August 31, 1999: Kneeland Youngblood, M.D., 16239 Amberwood 
Road, Dallas, Texas 75248. Dr. Youngblood will be replacing Steve Mahood of 
Dallas, whose term expired.
      To be a member of the Texas Workers' Compensation Insurance Fund Board of 
Directors for a term to expire February 1, 1995: Joe R. Fulton, 48 Lakeshore 
Drive, Corpus Christi, Texas 78413. Mr. Fulton will be filling the unexpired 
term of Lowell Lebermann of Austin, who resigned.
      To be a member of the Texas Workers' Compensation Insurance Fund Board of 
Directors for a term to expire February 1, 1999: Larry K. Durrett, 1204 
Kirkwood, Jacksonville, Texas 75766. Mr. Durrett is being reappointed.
      To be a member of the Texas Workers' Compensation Insurance Fund Board of 
Directors for a term to expire February 1, 1999: Patricia Ann (Pat) Crawford, 
P.O. Box 371270, El Paso, Texas 79937. Ms. Crawford is being reappointed.
      To be a member of the Texas Real Estate Commission for a term to expire 
January 31, 1997: Rick M. Albers, 2140 Barton Hills Drive, Austin, Texas 78704. 
Mr. Albers will be filling the unexpired term of Deborah Ann Aikin of Commerce, 
who resigned.
      To be a member of the Texas County and District Retirement System Board of 
Trustees for a term to expire December 31, 1997: Nelda Wells Spears, Travis 
County Tax Assessor-Collector, P.O. Box 1748, Austin, Texas 78767. Ms. Spears 
will be filling the unexpired term of Ann Smith of Granbury, who resigned.
      To be a member of the Governor's Committee on People With Disabilities for 
a term to expire February 1, 1995: James H. Cashion, III, 830 Taylor Street, 
Fort Worth, Texas 76102. Mr. Cashion is being reappointed.
      To be a member of the Governor's Committee on People With Disabilities for 
a term to expire February 1, 1995: Carol Herring Weir, 726 Patricia, San 
Antonio, Texas 78216. Ms. Weir is being reappointed.
