The Texas Ethics Commission has been asked to consider the following questions: May a part-time municipal judge/magistrate use the "title" judge in political advertising in connection with a candidacy for district or county court-at-law judge? The Texas Ethics Commission has been asked to consider whether a state legislator may use state computer equipment to maintain a schedule that includes personal and has also been asked to consider whether a state legislator may have state employees write a check to be paid from political funds of officeholder purposes.
