Appointments Made July 5, 1993
   To be State Treasurer of Texas until the next General Election and until her 
successor shall be duly elected and qualified: Martha Whitehead, 1908 North 
Fourth Street, Longview, Texas 75601. Ms. Whitehead will be filling the 
unexpired term of Kay Bailey Hutchison of Dallas, who resigned to take the oath 
of office as United States Senator from Texas.

        To be a member of the Texas Turnpike Authority Board of Directors for a

whose term expired.
        To be a member of the Governing Board of the International Trade
