Register publishes executive orders issued by the Governor of Texas. are 
published in Chronological order. Additional information on documents submitted

Appointments Made January 25, 1993
      To be a Commissioner of the Railroad Commission of Texas until the next 
General Election and until her successor shall be duly elected and qualified: 
Mary Scott Nabers, 40 North IH-35 PD #1, Austin, Texas 78701.
      Ms. Nabers will be replacing Commissioner Robert Krueger of New Braunfels, 
who was appointed to the United States Senate.

Appointments Made January 26, 1993
      To be a Chief Justice of the Court of Appeals, Second Supreme Judicial 
District, until the next General Election and until his successor shall be duly 
elected and qualified: Justice John G. Hill, 2224 Weatherbee, Fort Worth, Texas 
78110.
     Justice Hall will be replacing Chief Justice Tod Weaver of Fort Worth, who 
was elected to a full term as Justice of the Second Court of Appeals.

Appointments Made January 29, 1993
      To be a member of the State Board of Insurance for a term to expire 
January 31, 1999: Paul J. Williams, 203 East 47th Street, Austin, Texas 78751.   
Mr. Williams will be replacing Richard F. Reynolds of Austin, whose term 
expired.

Appointments Made February 3, 1993
      To be a Justice of the Court of Appeals, Second Supreme Judicial District, 
until the next General Election and until his successor shall be duly elected 
and qualified: Sidney C. Farrar, Jr., 3936 Thistle Lane, Fort Worth, Texas 
76109.
     Judge Farrar will be replacing Justice John G. Hill who was elevated to the 
position of Chief Justice of the Second Court of Appeals.

Appointments Made February 5, 1993
      To be a chairman of the General Services Commission for a term at the 
pleasure of the Governor: Ronald Kirk of Dallas.
      He will be replacing Anne Wynne of Austin who resigned.
      To be a cochair of the Texas Punishment Standards Commission for a term at 
the pleasure of the Governor: Senator John Whitmire of Houston.
      Representative Allen Hightower of Huntsville is also serving as cochair.          

Appointments Made February 8, 1993
      To be a member of the Texas Transportation Commission for a term to expire 
February 1, 1993: Anne Shelmire Wynne, 2405 Pemberton Place, Austin, Texas 
78703.
      Commissioner Wayne is being reappointment.
      To be a member of the Texas Public Finance Authority Board of Directors 
for a term to expire February 1, 1999: Peter C. Lewis, 6322 North Jim Miller 
Road, Dallas, Texas 75228.   Mr. Lewis is being reappointed.
      To be a member of the Texas Sabine River Compact Commission for a term to 
expire July 12, 1998: Danny A. Choate, 8400 Chaucer, Orange, Texas 77630.   Mr. 
Choate is being reappointed.

Appointments Made February 10, 1993
      To be a member of the University of Texas System Board of Regents for a 
term to expire February 1, 1999: Peter R. Coneway, 2247 Troon Road, Houston, 
Texas 77019.
      Mr. Coneway will be replacing Sam E. Bastrop of San Antonio, whose term 
expired.
      To be a member of the University of Texas Board of Regents for a term to 
expire February 1, 1999: Lowell H. Lebermann, 2307 Woodlawn Boulevard, Austin, 
Texas 78703.
      Mr. Lebermann will be replacing W. A. "Tex" Moncrief of Fort Worth, whose 
term expired.
      To be a member of the University of Texas System Board of Regents for a 
term to expire February 1, 1999: Martha E. Smiley, 1411 Hardouin Avenue, Austin, 
Texas 78703.
      Ms. Smiley will be replacing Louise A. Beecherl, Jr. of Dallas, whose term 
expired.
      To be a member of the Texas Employment Commission for a term to expire 
February 1, 1997: The Honorable Eddie Cavazos, 4313 O'Dell, Corpus Christi, 
Texas 78415.
      Representative Cavazos will be filling the unexpired term of Mary Scott 
Nabers of Austin who was appointed to the Railroad Commission of Texas.
