Appointed to be a member of the Texas Real Estate Commission for a term to expire January 31, 2011, Troy C. Alley, Jr. of DeSoto. Mr. Alley is replacing James N. Austin of Fort Worth whose term expired.

Appointed to be Commissioner of Workers' Compensation for a term to expire February 1, 2009, Albert Betts, Jr. of Austin. Mr. Betts is being reappointed.
