to expire February 1, 2003, Albert Hawkins, III of Austin (replacing Don Gilbert
who resigned).
Appointments for January 8, 2003
Designated as Chairman of the Texas Board of Health for a term at the pleasure
of the Governor, George Harrison McCleskey of Lubbock. Mr. McCleskey will
replace Dr. Mario Anzaldua of Mission, who will no longer serve as chair.
Appointed to the Statewide Health Coordinating Council for a term to expire
on August 1, 2007, Elva Concha LeBlanc, Ph.D. of Galveston (replacing Adena
Loston of Houston who resigned).
Appointed to the Texas Online Authority for a term to expire on February
1, 2007, Frank G. Elder, Jr. of San Antonio (replacing James Templeton of
Austin who resigned), Roger J. Benavides of San Antonio (replacing Cynthia
Comparin who resigned).
