TEXAS HISTORICAL COMMISSION
Chapter 17.
STATE ARCHITECTURAL PROGRAMS
13 TAC §17.1
The Texas Historical Commission adopts amendments to §17.1,
concerning the Preservation Trust Fund Grants and the Texas Preservation Trust
Fund, without changes to the proposed text as published in the June 6, 2003,
issue of the
Texas Register
(28 TexReg 4383)
and will not be republished.
The amendments are adopted to more conveniently enable grant recipients
to be reimbursed for expenses incurred throughout the implementation of the
grant funded project, and/or to provide grants without the requirement of
matching funds or in-kind contributions for those projects that are deemed
exceptional preservation projects.
The Commission received no comments on this proposed amendment.
The amendment is adopted under §442.005(q), Title 4 of the
Texas Government Code, which provides the Texas Historical Commission with
the authority to promulgate rules and conditions to reasonably effect the
purposes of this chapter.
No other statues, articles, or codes are affected by these amendments.
This agency hereby certifies that the adoption has been reviewed
by legal counsel and found to be a valid exercise of the agency's legal authority.
Filed with the Office of
the Secretary of State on July 31, 2003.
