Appointments for April 2, 2003
Appointed to the San Antonio River Authority Board of Directors for a term
until the next SARA General Election in February 2005, Gaylon J. Oehlke of
Kenedy. Mr. Oehlke is being appointed pursuant to San Antonio River Authority
Statute Section 9 and will be replacing Truett Hunt of Kenedy who resigned.
Appointed to the Texas A&M University System Board of Regents for a
term to expire February 1, 2009, John David White of Houston (replacing Dionel
Aviles of Houston whose term expired).
Appointed to the Texas A&M University System Board of Regents for a
term to expire February 1, 2009, Erle Allen Nye of Dallas (Mr. Nye is being
reappointed).
Appointed as Deputy Administrator to the State Administrator for the Interstate
Agreement on Detainers, Jimmy P. Guyton of Huntsville.
Appointed as Deputy Administrator to the State Administrator for the Interstate
Agreement on Detainers, Larry D. LeFlore of Huntsville.
Appointed as chairman of the Texas Structural Pest Control Board for a
term at the pleasure of the Governor, John Lee Morrison of San Antonio. Mr.
Morrison is replacing Jay Stone as chairman. Mr. Stone continues to serve
on the board.
