Appointments for March 11, 2002
Designated as presiding officer of the Texas Animal Health Commission for
a term at the at the pleasure of the Governor, Richard C. Traylor of Carrizo
Springs. Mr. Traylor is replacing R.A. Brown of Throckmorton, who no longer
serves on the board, as presiding officer.
Appointed to the Texas Animal Health Commission for terms to expire on
September 6, 2007, William Frank Edmiston, Jr. DVM of Eldorado (replacing
H. Tevis Herd of Midland whose term expired), Rogelio "Roy" Martinez of McAllen
(replacing Joe Templeton of College Station whose term expired), Jerry P.
Windham of College Station (replacing R. A. Brown of Throckmorton whose term
expired), Jill Bryar Wood of Wimberley (replacing Richard Winters of Brady
whose term expired).
Appointed to the Texas Strategic Military Planning Commission for terms
to expire on February 1, 2003, Judge Jose Aliseda, Jr. of Beeville (replacing
Tom Gann of Lufkin whose term expired), Ralph C. Gauer of Harker Heights (replacing
Lewis Curtis of San Antonio whose term expired).
Appointed to the Texas Strategic Military Planning Commission for terms
to expire on February 1, 2004, Dora G. Alcala of Del Rio (replacing Charles
Hines of Prairie View whose term expired), Johnny C. Fender of San Angelo
(replacing Fred Hughes of Abilene whose term expired), Josue Robles, Jr. of
San Antonio (replacing Chino Chapa of Dallas whose term expired).

to expire on February 1, 2005, William J. Ehrie of Abilene (replacing Robert
Tokerud of Irving whose term expired), Ronald D. Henson of Texarkana (replacing
Horace Taylor of Belton whose term expired), James P. Maloney of El Paso (replacing
Charles de Wetter of El Paso whose term expired).
Appointed to the Commission on State Emergency Communications for a term
to expire on September 1, 2003, Heberto Gutierrez of San Antonio (reappointed).
Appointed to the Commission on State Emergency Communications for a term
to expire on September 1, 2005, James O'Neal of Lancaster (replacing Karen
Hibbitt of Denison whose term expired).

compliance.
