Appointments for June 28, 2002
Appointed as Judge of the 278th Judicial District Court, effective July
2, 2002, for a term to until the next General Election and until his successor
shall be duly elected and qualified, Kenneth H. Keeling of Huntsville. Mr.
Keeling will replace Judge Jerry A. Sandel, who resigned effective July 1,
2002.
Appointed as Judge of the 327th Judicial District Court, El Paso County,
for a term until the next General Election and until his successor shall be
duly elected and qualified, Richard Abram Roman of El Paso. Mr. Roman will
replace Judge Phillip Martinez who resigned.
Appointed to the Telecommunications Planning and Oversight Council, pursuant
to SB 311, 77th Legislature, for a term to expire on August 31, 2003, Tina
L. Brown of Port Aransas.
Appointed to the Texoma Regional Review Committee for terms to expire on
January 1, 2003, Mayor Bill Goodson of Whitewright, Mayor Charles Leon Hurse
of Ladonia, Councilwoman Jewel M. Otto of Muenster, Mayor Karen Alexander
Paul of Gainesville, Commissioner Gene Short of Sherman, Mayor Henry G. Weinzapfel
of Muenster.
Appointed to the Texoma Regional Review Committee for terms to expire on
January 1, 2004, Commissioner Bill V. Cox of Gainesville, Alderman David Randolph
Johnson of Gunter, Mayor Billy W. Kerr of Southmayd, Mayor William Carl McEachern
of Bonham, Commissioner Johnny Waldrip of Sherman, Commissioner Phil Young
of Gainesville.
