10 TAC §§1.11 - 1.13

The Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs (the Department) adopts the repeal of §§1.11 - 1.13 without changes to the proposed text as published in the February 22, 2002 issue of the Texas Register (27 TexReg 1251), concerning the Block Grant Guidelines, and therefore, will not be republished.

The sections are repealed in order to update and discard duplicative and unnecessary rules in accordance with the Texas Government Code §2001.039. The only block grant remaining at the Department is the Community Services Block Grant (CSBG). Federal Law at 42 U.S.C. §9901 et seq. governs the nonrenewal of contracts and reductions in funding.

No comments were received regarding the repeal of these rules.

The repeal is adopted pursuant to the authority of the Texas Government Code, Chapter 2306; and in accordance with the Texas Government Code §2001.039.

This agency hereby certifies that the adoption has been reviewed by legal counsel and found to be a valid exercise of the agency's legal authority.

10 TAC §1.21

The Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs (the Department) adopts the repeal of §1.21 without changes to the proposed text as published in the February 22, 2002 issue of the Texas Register (27 TexReg 1252), concerning the Administrative Hearing Guidelines, and therefore, will not be republished.

No comments were received regarding the repeal of these rules.

This subchapter and section is repealed in order to update and discard duplicative and unnecessary rules pursuant to the authority of the Texas Government Code, Chapter 2306; and in accordance with the Texas Government Code §2001.039.
