Appointed to the Executive Council of Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy Examiners for a term to expire February 1, 2003, L. Suzan Kedron-Lyn of Dallas (replacing Martha Rodriguez of San Antonio whose term expired).

Appointed to the Texas Board of Occupational Therapy Examiners for terms to expire on February 1, 2007, Joseph A. Messmer of Corpus Christi (reappointed), Clarissa A. Meyers of McAllen (replacing Gail Blum of Dallas whose term expired), David G. Cabrales of Dallas (replacing Charles Turco of Beaumont whose term expired).

Appointed to the Western States Water Council for a term at the pleasure of the Governor, Thomas Weir Labatt, III of San Antonio (replacing William Madden of Dallas).

Appointment for March 15, 2002.

Appointed as Judge of the 190th Judicial District, Harris County for a term until the next General Election and until her successor shall be duly elected and qualified, Jennifer Walker Elrod of Houston. Ms. Elrod will replace Judge John P. Devine of Houston who resigned.

Designated as co-chairs of the Governor's Advisory Council on Physical Fitness, Paul Richard Carrozza of Austin and Dr. Jeffrey Ross of Houston.
