Appointed to the Texas Board of Occupational Therapy Examiners for terms
to expire on February 1, 2007, Joseph A. Messmer of Corpus Christi (reappointed),
Clarissa A. Meyers of McAllen (replacing Gail Blum of Dallas whose term expired),
David G. Cabrales of Dallas (replacing Charles Turco of Beaumont whose term
expired).
Appointed to the Western States Water Council for a term at the pleasure
of the Governor, Thomas Weir Labatt, III of San Antonio (replacing William
Madden of Dallas).

Appointed as Judge of the 190th Judicial District, Harris County for a
term until the next General Election and until her successor shall be duly
elected and qualified, Jennifer Walker Elrod of Houston. Ms. Elrod will replace
Judge John P. Devine of Houston who resigned.
