4 TAC §§29.1, 29.2, 29.4 - 29.9, 29.11 - 29.13
The Texas Agricultural Finance Authority (Authority) of the
Texas Department of Agriculture adopts the repeal of §§29.1, 29.2,
29.4-29.9, and 29.11-29.13 (Chapter 29), concerning the Authority's Texas
Agricultural Diversification Matching Grants Program, without changes to the
proposal published in the May 19,2000, issue of the
Texas Register
(25 TexReg 4422). The repeal of Chapter 29 is adopted
because the statutory authority establishing the matching grants program has
been repealed. The proposed repeal of Chapter 29 eliminates the Texas Agricultural
Diversification Matching Grants Program rules.
No comments were received on the proposal.
The repeal is adopted under the Texas Agriculture Code, §58.023
which provides the Authority with the authority to adopt rules to administer
programs established by the Authority board.
This agency hereby certifies that the adoption has been reviewed
by legal counsel and found to be a valid exercise of the agency's legal authority.
